Pete Kent is Executive Director of the Oregon Dairy and Nutrition Council. The Council works with Oregon’s dairy industry to maintain and expand domestic and international markets for dairy products produced throughout the state. He is a Member of the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers, represents Oregon on the United Dairy Industry Association national senior leadership team, serves on the boards of Oregon Dairy Industries and is an advisory board member of the Paul and Sandra Arbuthnot Dairy Center and for Oregon State University Dairy Foods Extension Program. He is a past board member of the Oregon Cheese Guild.
Prior to joining the Commission, Pete held positions in journalism, marketing, public relations, and sales for corporate, small business, nonprofit, and trade association entities. His career primarily has focused on natural resources, including both domestic and international trade.
